Originally from Wellington, Maggie returned to her hometown to join Ford Sumner in 2023, bringing with her valuable experience gained from working in Auckland for several years. Over the course of her career, she has developed a broad legal skill set, working across both commercial and private client matters.

At Ford Sumner, Maggie focuses primarily on commercial and corporate law, leveraging her expertise in subdivisions, conveyancing, and trust and estate matters. She takes pride in navigating the complexities of property transactions and providing practical, client-focused advice.

Maggie has a particular passion for assisting first-home buyers, guiding them through the often-daunting process of purchasing their first property. She finds great satisfaction in helping clients achieve such a significant milestone and is dedicated to making the experience as seamless and positive as possible.

Her approachable and detail-oriented nature ensures that clients feel supported and confident, whether they are entering the property market for the first time or managing more complex legal matters.

Outside of work, Maggie values quality time with her family and takes full advantage of Wellington’s scenic surroundings. She enjoys exploring the city on foot, discovering its many walking trails and hidden gems. Always eager to try something new, Maggie loves seeking out fresh spots to dine, relax, or simply take in the  atmosphere of the capital.
