Fenella joined Ford Sumner in January 2023 after completing her studies at Victoria University of Wellington in 2022. Fenella complemented her final year at university by working in Parliament as an Executive Assistant to two Members of Parliament. Prior to this, she was employed as a Legal Assistant at a full-service law firm in Blenheim.

Fenella works across commercial and corporate matters at Ford Sumner and has experience in commercial leasing and intellectual property matters. She has also been involved in employment matters, most notably for clients in the transport and not-for-profit sectors.

Fenella adopts a proficient yet thorough approach and is passionate about ensuring clients receive timely, high-quality advice.

On weekends, Fenella enjoys spending quality time with friends and family and staying active through various pursuits. Originally from Marlborough, she moved to Wellington for her studies and has since built her career in the capital. Fenella takes advantage of her time outside the office to explore the vibrant Wellington region and the lower North Island, enjoying the blend of urban culture and natural beauty the area has to offer.
